The College Woman’s Club of Westfield Announces Its Annual Spring Luncheon
The College Woman’s Club of Westfield cordially invites members, friends, and guests to its Annual Spring Luncheon, a much-anticipated afternoon of connection, conversation, and community, to be held at the beautiful Echo Lake Country Club.
The event will take place on Friday, March 20, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Guests will enjoy a delightful three-course luncheon and an engaging program, all in support of the College Woman’s Club of Westfield Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to deserving local young women pursuing higher education.
The Club is honored to welcome Carol Fitzgerald, President of The Book Report Network, as the featured guest speaker. Since 1996, her platforms—including Bookreporter.com and ReadingGroupGuides.com—have connected a national community of readers, authors, and book clubs. Carol is widely recognized for her thoughtful author interviews and her ability to bring readers closer to the stories and storytellers they love. She is also the host of the popular programs Bookreporter Talks To and Bookaccino Live. During the luncheon, she will share insights from her decades at the center of the literary world and offer a behind-the-scenes perspective on today’s publishing landscape and the power of reading communities.
In addition to the luncheon program, guests will have the opportunity to participate in basket raffles, including a special raffle featuring a Louis Vuitton handbag. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
The cost to attend is $65 per person, which includes the three-course meal. Reservations are required and may be made at cwcwestfield.org on or before March 15, 2026.
Whether you are a devoted reader, a member of a book club, or simply someone who enjoys an elegant afternoon in support of a meaningful cause, the Spring Luncheon promises to be a memorable event. Proceeds from the luncheon directly support the College Woman’s Club of Westfield’s longstanding mission to provide scholarships and encourage educational opportunities for young women in our community.
The College Woman’s Club of Westfield looks forward to welcoming you for this special celebration of community, learning, and philanthropy.
