Museum Mavens
The group brings local women together to enjoy curated, private tours of art, history, and science exhibits throughout the New Jersey and New York Metropolitan areas. If you are interested in joining us on our next outing, please contact Jennifer Jaruzelski at jaruzelski@aol.com with any questions.
The Museum Mavens Fall Outing!
The Museum Mavens will visit the Reeve House History and Culture Center on Wednesday, October 21, at 11 am for a private tour of the exhibit "Keeping Score: The Life & Legacy of Dr. Virginia Apgar" by curator Barbara Burton. Born in 1909, Dr. Apgar was a lifelong Westfield resident who revolutionized fetal health with her groundbreaking scoring system for newborns.
Please note this exhibit is on the second floor of the Reeve house and is accessed by a steep stairway with 17 steps and handrails. There are about 5 parking spaces in the Reeve House lot; attendees are encouraged to park in the lot behind Baron's or carpool. Afterwards we will walk into town for lunch - self pay. There is no charge for the exhibit but donations to the Westfield Historical Society are welcome.

Join our cozy little book group!
We’re a group of readers who love good stories, great conversations, with maybe a glass of wine and a little nosh while we talk. Our vibe is relaxed and social. Think of books we can chat about mixed with our laughs, tangents, and camaraderie.
Each month we will pick a new read, share our thoughts in discussion threads, and connect over the twists, turns, and characters we meet along the way. All are welcome- whether you’re a casual reader a thriller addict, or just here for the company.

Ann Ormsby is a Westfield resident and author, of Secrets of the Midwife. She will be hosting our group at the Westfield Bookstore in January for a discussion about her book. If you are interested in join us in reading this book and attending the discussion please contact Kowpet224@gmail.com.

Cozy Creators
Whether you are a seasoned fiber crafter or just starting out, join us for a relaxed hangout where you can share progress on your latest project or get some assistance troubleshooting something new. Any portable fiber craft is welcome, including knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, needle felting, or punch needle.
We will meet monthly, with the time and location dependent on the participants.
Our first meeting will be Thursday, October 29th at 7 p.m.

If you are obsessed with finding your next favorite meal and love a fun, high-energy night out, you won’t want to miss this. We are bringing together incredible food, awesome music, and a room full of amazing people. Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and get ready for a super fun, laid-back evening celebrating the local food scene.
We will meet monthly for dinner.
Dining Divas will be joining Sip & Shop in Nov. for and Afternoon /Evening of shopping and eating.
Mah Jongg
It is all the rave right now. Come play with us — everyone is welcome. All levels are invited; some basic knowledge is helpful but not required. If there is enough interest, we will organize lessons.
We typically host between 3 and 12 players and can accommodate any number in that range. We are a friendly, supportive group and would love for you to give us a try. We will be meeting once a month through December and may increase the frequency afterward.
Meetings are scheduled for September 29th, October 27th, and November 24th.
