CWC Provides Grant to WHS DECA

The College Women’s Club (CWC), in partnership with the College Men’s Club, recently presented a grant to the DECA Club at Westfield High School. Pictured is CWC President Susan Kolwalenko alongside representatives from the College Men’s Club as they support this dynamic student organization.

DECA is a high school organization dedicated to preparing emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. With over 300 student members, the Westfield chapter is committed to providing meaningful business education through hands-on experiences and a robust speaker series featuring professionals from a wide range of industries. These guest speakers offer students valuable insight and exposure to potential career paths.

This year, the students have demonstrated exceptional achievement and, for the first time, will be participating in the statewide DECA Conference in Atlantic City. The grant will help fund ongoing on-campus activities as well as support their upcoming trip, ensuring more students have the opportunity to benefit from this impactful program.
